Janus
Janus was the Roman god of doorways and new beginnings. He guarded the different pathways that life could go. An example of beginnings would the new year. The month of January is named after Janus because January is the month of beginnings, so it fits the description with the god. He was described as having two faces, both with different personalities.

Hypnos was the god of sleep. He controlled all sleeping conditions in the mortal world. He lived in a massive palace located inside a dark and shady cave. His name can be derived from "Hypnosis" and "Hypnotism". It is said that he has a very powerful aura surrounding him. This aura would cause any mortal to want to fall asleep. Also his Roman form, Somnus, has made many names in science. The word insomnia is linked to Somnus.

Charon was a minor god in the underworld. His job was to transport souls in the underworld. He was usually found on a boat in the River Styx. He would ferry souls who paid him a gold drachma to the Hades's realm. He appears in many myths involving the underworld. His description is wearing a long hooded cloak with a paddle to row the waters.

Persephone was the Greek goddess of springtime. She was also the goddess of flowers, fertility, and young life. Her appearance was usually described as a tall, beautiful woman, with chocolate brown eyes and long flowing hair. She was kidnapped by Hades, and was forced to remain in the underworld with him for one third of a year. After that time, she returns to the earth and blooms spring.

She was described as a beautiful woman, wearing a long, sleeveless dress. She is also the former cup bearer of the gods. She served ambrosia and nectar to the gods.

Hecate was the Greek goddess of magic, sorcery, witchcraft. She was also the goddess of crossroads, trivial knowledge, and necromancy. She is also considered the goddess of the mist. She is also associated with childbirth, nurturing the young, gates, walls, doorways, and sometimes change. She can be seen dressed in dark robes and holding twin torches. She is also beautiful, but pale.
